I decided to make a guitar tuner application using WebAudio API on the basis of learning the WebAudio API. So, gathered some info about the pitch detection algorithms how did they are calculated, and most of them were very mathematical to understand. But what I came to know from those, that there are some algorithms out there, delivered by some researchers, to detect pitches from audio stream buffer. WebAudio API provides an audio stream buffer with AnalyserNode. So combining with the analyzed output of stream buffer and AutoCorrelation algorithm for pitch detection, I was able to detect pitch from microphone source.
